London – Channel 4 International (C4i), part of the Digital Rights Group (DRG), has promoted Patrick Roberts to vice president, international sales and has expanded its sales and acquisitions teams. As VP, international sales, Roberts is responsible for sales to Australia, New Zealand, Japan, USA, Canada, and the UK. He was formerly senior sales executive, and joined C4i more than ten years ago. Joining the C4i sales team as senior sales executives are Nicola Richards and Rosi Krupa. Richards joins from Cake Distribution to head up sales to Asia excluding Japan, Greece, Cyprus, Malta and in-flight. Krupa sells to Spain, Portugal, Latin America and Eastern Europe, and had previously headed up CBC Canada’s European operation in London. In acquisitions, Niki Page has been promoted to the newly created position of acquisitions manager, while Lauren Hughes joins as acquisitions co-ordinator. Page will work with Hughes and manage the company’s first look and development deals with programme-makers. She has been with C4i for eight years working with domestic and international producers.
