California/Sydney – The Sharpe Company has appointed International Film Group (IFG) as the Australian licensing and merchandising agent for pre-school animation properties Franny’s Feet, Naughty Naughty Pets and Angry Little Girls. IFG will manage licensing and merchandising programs in Australia and explore licensing opportunities including home video, stationery, gift, novelties, games and apparel. Franny’s Feet and Naughty Naughty Pets are airing in Australia on ABC1 and ABC2, with the former also on Nick Jr. Angry Little Girls is currently in development as an animated series produced by and featuring the voices of creator Lela Lee and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Franny’s Feet follows the adventures of a little girl with magical shoes which take her on a new adventure in each episode; Naughty Naughty Pets is a series on colourful stuffed animals inspired by real life pets for kids and pet-lovers; and Angry Little Girls centers on a group of comic characters exploring issues that girls care about. The Angry Little Girls’ web-based comic series currently averages over 250,000 hits a month.
