Beijing / Hong Kong – MTV Networks China, Shanghai Media Group (SMG) and CCTV 6 are collaborating to hold the 2007 MTV Style Gala on November 23 at the Shanghai Grand Stage to pay tribute to fashion trendsetters from China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Awards to be presented include Most Stylish Singer, Most Stylish Actor/Actress, Most Stylish Song, and Most Stylish Movie. Hosted by MTV VJs and presenters from SMG and CCTV 6, the show will be recorded before a live audience of 10,000 and broadcast to over 1 billion viewers through MTV China’s 24-hr Channel, SMG’s OTV and CCTV 6 in December 2007. 2007 MTV Style Gala will feature celebrities from the film, music, television and fashion industries including Paris Hilton, and Greater China’s Liu Ye, Shin, S.H.E., Anthony Wong, Sammi Cheng, and Vicki Zhao.
