Hong Kong – LUXE.TV, the world’s first international TV network focusing on luxury lifestyle produced in HD and broadcast as HD and SD channels, will be aired across the region via AsiaSat 2. LUXE.TV signed a contract with AsiaSat to distribute both channels to Asian cable and satellite networks, terrestrial stations and pay-TV platforms through AsiaSat 2’s pan-Asian C-band digital platform operated by Satlink Communications in Israel. The two 24-hour channels provide English language factual entertainment on real estate, home design, sports, leisure, hotels, food, beauty, fashion, cars, yachting, jewelry and watches, as topics of interest to Asia’s growing economies. Jean-Baptiste Stock, General Manager of LUXE.TV said, “We see a huge appetite for LUXE.TV programs in Asia as the region develops into a leading economic force. At the same time, there is a growing demand for HD content by pay TV operators in Asia as a differentiator.”
