Paris– The World Teleport Association(WTA) named GlobeCast as the top Independent Teleport Operator for broadcast services and second among all operators for the third consecutive year. GlobeCast is also included in WTA’s 2007 Top 20 list of Global Teleport operators, just behind satellite fleet operators at number 6. GlobeCast has made investments in its facilities in 2007 adding new content management and playout facilities in London and Florida. The Top 20 ranking is based on total revenue from all sources and includes all commercial operators, independents, satellite carriers, fibre carriers and technology companies. The Independent Top Ten ranking is based on total revenue from all sources but excludes companies whose primary business is satellite fleet operations.
