Toronto / London – Decode Enterprises, producer of kids and family entertainment and distribution subsidiary of Decode Entertainment’s parent DHX Media Ltd., has sold 250 half hours of programming in Asia. Disney Channel India acquired live action shows The Latest Buzz and Naturally Sadie as well as animation series Urban Vermin. Tween-targeted The Latest Buzz (39×22’) follows the adventures of a group of teens in the world of magazine publishing. Naturally Sadie (65×22’) centres on the life and friends of high schooler Sadie, who is passionate about the natural world. Urban Vermin (26×22’) for children aged 6-12, is an animated action comedy with two raccoon brothers who turn against each other. Thailand’s TrueVisions took animation Bo On the GO! produced by DHX subsidiary Halifax Film and pre-school series Franny’s Feet. Franny’s Feet (39×22’) follows the adventures of 6-year-old Franny Fantootsie who tries on different shoes and travels to different places in the world. Bo On The GO! (26×22’) promotes an active lifestyle and mind for pre-schoolers and utilizes motion capture technology and CG. Hong Kong’s ATV picked up 13 episodes of Super Why by Out of the Blue Enterprises and Decode Entertainment, and Turner Broadcasting’s live action series My Spy Family. Super Why (65×22’) helps kids learn the fundamentals of reading through interactive storybook adventures. My Spy Family (26×22’), suitable for children 6-14, chronicles the adventures of a family of ex-spies in an ordinary neighbourhood.
