TrueVisions, leading Thai pay-TV operator and subsidiary of True Corporation Public Company Ltd., (formerly UBC) has launched TrueSport, a set of four sports channels in Thailand with identity sequences created by London-based media and sports branding agency, English & Pockett. The four channels, TrueSport 1 – 4, offer football; boxing and Thai fighting; athletics and football; as well as golf and tennis respectively. The idents initially featured off-air and debuted on air in mid-August during the opening round of matches of the 2007/8 English Premier League season. Consisting of four sequences, a toolkit, audio, and an electronic style guide, TrueSport’s animated idents were designed by English & Pockett to be “dynamic, stylish and energetic” with CG flame elements and live action combining as graphical interpretations of power and energy.
