Hong Kong – Asia Satellite Telecommunications Company Ltd has launched a full transponder C-band MCPC (Multiple Channels per Carrier) technology platform to provide video, audio, data and IP-based broadcast services on AsiaSat 3S at AsiaSat’s Tai Po Earth Station in Hong Kong. Through this new platform, AsiaSat will provide a one-stop package to broadcasters irrespective of locations. Working with its partners, AsiaSat now offers space segment, optical fibre, downlink, uplink and other value-added services including playout and conditional access from Hong Kong onto AsiaSat 3S. The multi-client platform enables broadcast customers to deliver their services in SD or HD at full power of the transponder.
