Singapore– StarHub is offering free subscription of Discovery Channel and Bloomberg Television to public schools in Singapore for 24 months in an effort to provide a learning experience beyond textbooks to students. Discovery Channel showcases documentaries which explore the diversity of the world including Man vs Wild and Man-made Marvels which focus on the subjects of wilderness survival and buildings respectively. Bloomberg Television offers insights into the financial world through its mix of local, regional and international financial news and programs such as A Greener Asia which features businesses’ responses to environmental challenges. Schools have to set up infrastructure including antennas, TV points and internal cabling to receive digital terrestrial TV signals.
