Sydney- Former Network 10 Head of Programming Kristin Marlow has been appointed General Manager, BigPond Movies, telco Telstra’s movie downloads and online DVD rentals service. BigPond Group Managing Director, Justin Milne, said Marlow would lead the growth and development of BigPond Movies as it expands its movie libraries and “introduces more Australians to the ease and convenience of BigPond Movies.” Milne added, “BigPond Movies has successfully tapped into the huge potential market for electronic movie delivery in Australia, both by downloads or via post.” Marlow spent more than 18 years working in film and television (with Network Ten and TV3 New Zealand), pay-TV (Foxtel and Optus) and most recently with IPTV start-up, ReelTime Infotainment.
