France’s Cyber Group Animation is collaborating with Canada’s Sardine Productions and Singapore’s Peach Blossom Media, as well as distributor Planet Nemo on animation series Manon “Queen of Animals”. Manon “Queen of Animals” is based on books by Gerard Moncomble and Nadine Rouviere, chronicling Manon’s fantastical life at the farm with her animal friends. The series is aimed at kids aged 2–6. Commissioned by French channel Tiji and Canada’s Radio-Canada, SCN, TFO and Knowledge Network, the series is due to be delivered by the end of 2008. Planet Nemo will handle distribution in Asia while Cyber Group Animation will manage distribution into Western and Eastern Europe, North and South America, Middle East and Africa. Both companies will look for pre-sales at MIPCOM.
