Singapore- Intense Animation Studio has produced original animation properties 11 and The Travels of Wiglington and Wenks as part of its portfolio for the launch of creative animation services on August 2. Developed in collaboration with pay-TV operator M2B World, 11 is an animated comedy about the resurrection of a dysfunctional football team, Billingham F.C., which features celebrity voiceovers by Singaporean artistes Sheikh Haikel and Deanna Yusoff. Some 14 original CG characters were created for the pilot, which was partly funded by the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA). Based on a children’s book of the same name, Intense created a distribution trailer for The Travels of Wiglington and Wenks to be shown at MIPCOM in Cannes from October 8 – 12, 2007. The studio created 10 characters, locations such as Venice, Rome, Istanbul and the British Museum, and water simulation and visual effects for the trailer. Intense Animation Studio, led by Tony Sealy, Managing Director, offers creative animation services in character animation and 3D assets for TV commercials, print advertising, game cinematics and virtual worlds.
