Hong Kong- Granada International has acquired the first series of weekly Asian talk show, The May Lee Show. Addressing Asian women’s concerns and interests including relationships, body image, family and sex, the 13 x one-hour series is currently in production and made its debut recently across Asia on STAR World. The May Lee show is created and hosted by Korean-American May Lee, a former CNN and CNBC correspondent and anchor. It also features A-list region and international guests and mixes conversations with demonstrations and features. The May Lee Show is co-executive produced by Glenn van Zutphen and produced by Lotus Media House, while Granada International holding pan-Asian rights to the series after its premiere on STAR World. According to James Ross, Regional Director at Granada International, The May Lee Show caters to Asian women who juggle their careers and family. Granada International has also inked distribution and co-production deals with 7 Apache Films in France and Shaftesbury Films in Canada for rights to distribute their programs globally.
