Sydney, July 2- Martin Sacks, Vince Colosimo, Rodger Corser and Caroline Craig head the cast of Underbelly, a 13-part drama which dramatizes Melbourne’s infamous gangland wars, which broke out in 1998 and continue to this day. Produced by Screentime for the Nine Network, the production began filming today in Melbourne for the Nine Network. Based on the book Leadbelly by John Silvester and Andrew Rule, Underbelly will also follow the rise and fall of notorious criminal Carl Williams, who is now in prison. The cast includes Rodger Corser (Last Man Standing) and Caroline Craig (Blue Heelers) as Detective Senior Sergeant Steve Owen and Detective Constable Jacqui James. Also: Vince Colosimo, Gyton Grantley, Kat Stewart, Simon Westaway, Gerard Kennedy, Kevin Harrington and Robert Mammone.
