Singapore– Hewlett Packard (HP) will collaborate with MTV Networks Asia Pacific for the second season of Meet or Delete. The show, which debuted in 2006, follows college students attempting to meet one another based on the content within their PC hard drives. Four instalments of the show will be produced for China, India, Korea and Australia to feature more localization, consumer interaction and HP products as prizes. HP has nearly doubled its sponsorship for 2007 and expanded activities across on-air, online and mobile TV platforms. The show’s website www.MeetorDelete.com has been enhanced to enable users to build profiles, upload videos and photos. It also provides episodes including the entire first season, unseen footage, interactive games, free music downloads, updates on previous cast members and offers users chances to appear on the show. The new season will explore what users have in common and how PCs reflect shared connections. Some 36 episodes are being commissioned globally with Asian-focused episodes expected to air on MTV channels at the end of September. Six episodes will be produced by MTV China, MTV Korea and MTV Australia and eight by MTV India.
