Singapore / Beijing / Mumbai / Seoul / Sydney– Hewlett Packard (HP) will collaborate with MTV Networks Asia Pacific for a second season of Meet or Delete which made its debut in 2006. The show follows college students attempting to meet one another based on the content within their PC hard drives. Four installments of the show will be produced for China, India, Korea and Australia featuring more localization, consumer interaction and HP products as contest prizes. The new season of Meet or Delete is expected to deliver HP’s global “The Computer is Personal Again” marketing campaign to MTV’s audience. An OTX survey reported that 65% of viewers saw HP as “more cool” and over half were more likely to consider buying HP products following the first season, with support from MTV’s worldwide multi-platform activities. HP has nearly doubled its sponsorship for 2007 and has expanded activities across on-air, online and mobile TV platforms.
