Toronto / London- Children and family entertainment specialist Decode Entertainment signed a deal with Japan’s NHK to bring animation Naughty Naughty Pets to its Saturday morning schedule. The CBC-commissioned series of shorts (26 x 3 mins) is airing on Cartoon Network in the U.S. and on Boomerang and is available on mobile and CN video. Decode has also signed a deal for Naughty Naughty Pets with Mexican network Canal Once and is developing the shorts into a long form series. Naughty Naughty Pets was created by New York-based artist Wendy Ann Gardner, an executive producer of the series. The Sharpe Company Inc. is the worldwide licensing agent for the property. A variety of merchandise for the brand has already sold in countries including the U.S., Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and the U.K.
