Sydney- Amanda Higgs, co-creator of the popular Network Ten drama series Secret Life of Us, has been appointed ABC TV’s Executive Producer of Drama, based in Melbourne. She moves to the ABC from production company Southern Star Entertainment, where she developed a number of shows. Prior to that she worked as a script editor on a range of TV series such as Wildside, Water Rats and Police Rescue, and on feature films Praise and Somersault. She reports to Miranda Dear, ABC TV’s Head of Drama.
