Singapore- MediaCorp has promoted Daisy Irani to Head of MediaCorp TV12’s Central Network Programming & Promotions (NPP), which comprises Kids Central, Vasantham Central and Arts Central, effective June 1. She will direct programming and promotion strategies for the channels and will concurrently head MediaCorp TV12’s Creative Services Division, which won the Hitwise Award for two consecutive years for its Kids Central website. Besides being a producer and director, Irani is the Managing Executive Producer of MediaCorp Studios’ English Entertainment Productions Division. She has contributed to television series including Living with Lydia and Asian Television Awards-winning Daddy’s Girls and Under One Roof. Irani will be assisted by Sabanitha Shanmugasundram, who oversees Vasantham Central NPP. Also effective from June 1, Shanmugasundram will head the programming, commissioning, acquisitions, promotions, scheduling and operations, as well as set the groundwork to project Vasantham Central’s brand into the region.
