Tokyo- Soichiro Chigusa, President of Kansai Telecasting Corp. (KTV) has quit, taking the rap for the use of bogus scientific data in the broadcaster’s popular Sunday night quiz/variety show Hakkutsu Aruaru Daijiten II (Encyclopedia of Living II), which resulted in KTV’s expulsion from the National Association of Japanese Commercial Broadcasters (Minporen).
