Tokyo – Multiple system operator (MSO) Jupiter Telecommunications (J:COM) has appointed new board members and undergone an internal reorganization approved by shareholders. J:COM's new board is led by Tomoyuki Moriizumi, President & CEO and Mineo Fukuda, Executive Vice President & COO

New board members include Masayuki Matsumoto, President, Cable West Inc.; Akira Ito, General Manager, Administration and Human Resources Division; Yoshio Osawa, Executive Officer, General Manager, Network Division; and Mark Luiz, Executive Vice President, Jupiter Programming.

J:COM's 10 divisions were reorganized into six units to improve transparency as well as operational and management efficiency from April 1, 2007. The six units are Corporate Planning & Strategy (new unit), Human Resources & Administration, Finance & Accounting, Service Strategy, Customer Relations, and Engineering & AIT.
