Bangkok – Thailand’s only independent TV station iTV has halted broadcasting ‘temporarily’ until any light is shed on its future.

Equally in the dark appear to be the Thai Cabinet, deciding to pull the plug after having failed to reach a decision on the channel’s future. The core of iTV’s problems lie in debts of US$3.85million, incurred via fines, fees and interest.
