Singapore, Canada – Singapore-based children’s media company August Media Holdings and Canadian production company Chocolate Moose Media have announced a commission by TELETOON Canada Inc. for a new season of the animated series George of the Jungle.

Based on the 1967 series of the same name, the second season of the 2007 series will be produced for TELETOON Canada Inc., and licensed to international telecasters including Nickelodeon for Germany and Northern Europe, as well as, TVE Spain. The new season will be produced in Canada and Singapore with a delivery slated to begin in 2014. Season 2 of George of the Jungle will be distributed by DreamWorks Classics and August Rights.
