Singapore/Hong Kong – MTV today unveiled plans for the 2012 launch of a local version of MTV Sessions, the multiplatform music showcase, that will be shot in front of a LIVE audience in Singapore’s Resorts World Sentosa. The first episode of the four-part series features Taiwanese recording artist Vanness Wu, and will be recorded in HD. It premieres on MTV South East Asia on 1 January 2012, with additional exclusive content available online at www.mtvasia.com/mtvsessions. Like other versions of the programme, the Singapore version will adopt an informal structure to highlight the work and life of each artist through their music and personal stories.
