Screen Australia withdraws funding for QPIX
From January 1, 2014, QPIX, Queensland’s filmmaker development centre will no longer receive government funding to deliver its professional development services to the early-career sector of the screen industry throughout the State. Australia’s SBS announced that it has appointed Peter Andrews as Head of Network Programming. Andrews has 18 years’ experience in television programming with Australia’s major commercial broadcasters.
