Talking to colleagues from India back during BroadcastAsia mid-2009, some were keen to play down the DTH growth story, saying that projections of its potential in India were being over-exaggerated. Global IPTV homes to reach 70mn by end-2014: report
According to a new report from Informa Telecoms & Media, the number of homes receiving IPTV services worldwide will reach 70mn by the end of 2014, more than double the end-2009 total of 26mn. The report added that revenues are also expected to climb sharply from US$ 4.6bn in 2009 to US$ 12.2bn in 2014.
