Delhi-The slow spread of Conditional Access Systems (CAS) to prevent unauthorized reception of digital TV channels in India is worrying the government, Asha Swarup, Secretary of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, told the India Digital Networks Summit. “We are conducting studies to find out why it has been slow,” she said. Hong Kong – Following 9% year–on-year growth in advertising expenditure for two consecutive months in Hong Kong, only a 2% increase was recorded in September 2007 compared to the same period last year, reaching HK$4.4billion ($US567million), according to Nielsen Media Research’s Hong Kong Advertising Information Services (AIS) monthly report. Trinity’s channels to bless Japan via IPTV
Tokyo - The New Media Group has announced a tie-up with Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), the world’s largest Christian broadcaster, bringing up to four of TBN’s channels to Japan and East Asia for the first time.
