The A Word was selected from a short list of critically acclaimed series from all over Europe to be awarded with the Jury’s Special prize for European Fiction at the La Rochelle Festival de la Fiction TV. The Festival has been honoring French and international dramas since 1999. More than 25,000 people attend each year.
