Australia's Seven has signed an exclusive content deal for shows from Granada International's current slate including Life Begins, William and Mary, as well as new series Lewis and My Boy Jack, to debut in 2008. Singapore: The 8th edition of the Asia Television Forum (ATF) closed Nov 30 with deals totaling a record US$62.7 million, surpassing ATF 2006's US$47.1 million mark by 33%. Singapore's Character Farm and distributor Six-Six-Eight licensed Katakune, a CGI animated series about a silkworm, to Japan's Hi Corporation to bring the character to mobile platforms. Sony confident on profit margin goal
Tokyo - Sony CEO and Chairman Howard Stringer has expressed confidence in the company making its 5% profit margin goal by the end of fiscal 2007. Talking to reporters in Tokyo, Stringer said 2008 will see the expansion of online networking for the PS3 console to other electronics, beginning with the PlayStation Portable.
