DIRECTV and News Corporation's STAR announced the signing of a multi-year extension for continuing carriage of STAR India PLUS, STAR ONE, STAR India NEWS and VIJAY in the US. Hong Kong/New York - The National Hockey League (NHL) and All Sports Network (ASN) of Hong Kong announced the signing of a multi-year deal giving ASN rights to broadcast the NHL via all forms of television including HDTV and IPTV throughout much of Asia, including the Indian sub-continent.
