Hong Kong – Asian reality series SUPERMODELME Season 2 will air on television for the first time exclusively on KIX on March 17. The series features twelve aspiring Asian models going head-to-head through a series of physically and mentally grueling challenges – each vying for a chance to kick-start her modeling career. The SUPERMODELME winner will receive $20,000 along with tens of thousands of dollars worth of prizes, will grace the cover of leading fashion magazines, and appear in Tiger Gate productions. Co-produced by Tiger Gate Entertainment in Hong Kong and Refinery Media in Singapore, SUPERMODELME branches out in what Tiger Gate’s head of production, Jef Lim, describes as an “integrated 360 approach with multimedia platforms in mind: linear, on-air, mobile, and web. We firmly believe in supporting original Asian concepts that span both traditional and new media.” William Pfeiffer, CEO of Tiger Gate Entertainment, said, “The long-term goal of the collaboration is to further develop and produce unique made-in-Asia formats for distribution throughout the region and the rest of the world. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Refinery Media with SUPERMODELME Season 3 which is already under development.”
