Monte-Carlo – The series that launched the world’s No. 1 television franchise, ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’, was presented with the prestigious International Television Audience Award for a Drama TV Series at the 51st Monte Carlo TV Festival, marking the fourth time the series has been awarded this honor in the past six years. The International Audience Awards are presented jointly by the Monte-Carlo TV Festival and Eurodata TV Worldwide to reward programs which delivered the highest ratings worldwide in 2010 across five continents in three categories: Drama TV Series, Comedy TV Series and Telenovelas/Soap Operas. Just completing filming on its 11th Season, ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’ is a fast-paced drama about a team of forensic investigators trained to solve crimes by examining the evidence. The series is one of the top rated dramas in America. ‘CSI’ and its spinoff series – ‘CSI: Miami’ and ‘CSI: NY’ – have created a global television franchise with all three series licensed in over 200 markets. The three ‘CSI’ series are produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television and distributed internationally by CBS Studios International.
