FCCE China and Heilongjiang Longmedia Group have announced that Entertainment Experience, a 39-week cross media/ multi-platform format, will air in China in March 2013.
Originally a Dutch format, Entertainment Experience has been a great success in The Netherlands. The project combines a TV series, social media and undiscovered talent before ending with two movies. Entertainment Experience can be followed in real time through Interactive TV, VOD, Social Media and Website.
The public can sign up for casting auditions, submit scripts, film, compose soundtracks, design posters, edit trailers, develop a game concept and work with the biggest names in film making. The result is the first user-generated movie conceived and created by the audience.
FCCE’s Chief Commercial Officer Justus A.G. Verkerk: “Entertainment Experience is a proven successful concept. In the Netherlands 35,000 people participated in the first user generated movie. With Heilongjiang TV we expect an even bigger success in China. This will be the second Dutch format that will rock the boat in China!”
Mr. Gao HongGang, vice-director of the Heilongjiang Satellite TV Channel: “We are delighted to start this cross media format in China. It will give a huge opportunity for the audience but also for advertisers and the movie industry. We look forward to a very successful project and working together with the experienced team from FCCE.”
