Global Agency has sold The Greatest Duo to BriskPace Unlimited, the unscripted and new-formats label of Munich-based BriskPace Studios. The deal is the format’s second international sale, a week after Endemol acquired the rights for Italy, and follows its launch at MIPCOM in Cannes earlier this month.
BriskPace Unlimited will produce the German version with Sebastian Wimmer, who has produced international versions of LOVE ISLAND, DANCING WITH THE STARS and IDOLS, as a prime-time series for television with a 360 degree multi-platform world building approach.

The Greatest Duo is a prime-time competition format, told through music, in which singers must prove they belong together. Across 12 episodes, duos face individual scoring, rising stages, emotional reunions and life-changing partner choices as they compete to become the next legendary musical partnership. Because great talent can take you to the top, but only together can you win.

The Greatest Duo is the first unscripted format from BriskPace Unlimited, the label Munteanu, founder of German distributor SquareOne Entertainment, launched in 2025. It was announced a week after the label launched its first original series, The Light and Hard Times of Lucky Briscoe, at MIA in Rome.
On the label’s plans for the format, Munteanu added: “This is exactly what Unlimited is for. We will make the big shiny floor show, and we take a 360-degree view and will invite audiences to experience the drama, the music and the beef on all platforms. We cannot wait to get started.”
