Halifax/Los Angeles/London/Toronto/Vancouver – DHX Media has announced the launch of three paid YouTube family entertainment channels, expanding its digital footprint with the launch of DHX Kids, DHX Junior and DHX Retro. The channels join a group of premier content partners selected to be part of YouTube’s first paid channels. DHX Media digital channels will be offered in multiple countries – including Australia, Japan, and Korea, and in multiple languages including English, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
DHX Media digital channels content is available now for a two week free trial with a subscription price of USD$2.99 per month. Discounted yearly subscriptions are also available. The channels are set to feature series such as Sabrina, Sherlock Holmes, Madeline, Inspector Gadget and Super Mario. DHX Media will add additional content to these channels regularly and will showcase a selection of first-run programming through their digital channels in all territories.
