CJ ENM HK has launched a tvN Movies SVOD (Subscription Video On Demand) and Pay-Per-View service together with Southeast Asia leading app Gojek via its Video On Demand streaming platform – GoPlay, bringing the best and latest Korean blockbusters on demand to millions of mobile audiences starting on 6 October. The partnership with Gojek, which is synonymous with everyday life in Indonesia with more than 190M downloads, is another leap forward in the streaming space.
Launched in September 2019, GoPlay is providing Indonesian consumers access to quality local movies and shows, with genres ranging from drama to horror. GoPlay offers various services such as GoPlay Access (Subscription Video On Demand), GoPlay Live (Live Streaming), and its latest addition, GoPlay Rental (Transactional Video on Demand). Steel Rain 2: Summit, a political thriller starring Jung Woo-Sung, Kwak Do-Won and Yoo Yeon-Seok who holds the riskiest peace summit in a submarine 800 feet below sea level, is available from 6 October while Deliver Us From Evil, an action thriller starring Hwang Jung-Min, Lee Jung-Jae, and Park Jung-Min and the biggest summer blockbuster in Korea with 4.3 million cinema admissions, is available from 1 November. Peninsula, the CG effects-heavy sequel to the 2017 hit zombie flick ‘Train to Busan starring Gang Dong-won and Lee Jung-hyun will be available from 15 November.
