Toronto, Canada – Blue Ant Media, an international producer, distributor and channel operator, announced today new sales appointments to its growing Global Networks division ahead of NATPE 2018. This newly created sales team will focus on distributing Love Nature, ZooMoo and Arcade Cloud across the LatAm and US-Hispanic markets. Julio Sobral, Fernando Gualda, Loreto Gaete, Starrett Berry and Sebastian Galia will operate out of Blue Ant Media’s Los Angeles office.
Leading the new sales force is Julio Sobral, General Manager, Kids & Global Networks – LatAm & US-Hispanic, Blue Ant Media. In this role, Sobral will oversee the channel distribution and operations of Blue Ant Media’s suite of channels across linear and streaming platforms all over the US-Hispanic, LatAm and Brazil markets and will report to Ward Platt, CEO, Kids & Global Networks, Blue Ant Media. Sobral arrives at Blue Ant Media from Fox Network Groups Europe and US where he served as SVP, Business Operations.
Reporting to Julio Sobral, the LatAm & US-Hispanic sales group will include Loreto Gaete, covering Chile, Colombia, Peru and Mexico; Sebastian Galia, overseeing sales in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay; Fernando Gualda who will be responsible for affiliate sales and distribution in the region; and Starrett Berry will be covering the Caribbean and US Hispanic region.
Blue Ant Media’s roster of channels in the LatAm and US-Hispanic markets will introduce audiences across the region to Love Nature’s exclusive and family-friendly, original wildlife and nature programming via its 4K and HD linear channels; and Arcade Cloud, an animated and live action YouTube gaming channel with 250 million+ views that streams animated parodies, mobile games, original series, gaming reviews and listicles, with new content launching every week. Children’s nature broadcaster, ZooMoo is currently available in the US-Hispanic, Mexico and LATAM markets, airing its 500 hours of original content combining spectacular wildlife footage with puppetry, animation and narration for the Kids 2-7 category. ZooMoo is available in English, Spanish and other foreign language options.
