ITV Studios (ITVS) has unveiled its unscripted slate for MIPCOM 2017, which will once again be headlined by its smash hit format, Love Island. Following the record–breaking success of series three on ITV2 in the UK this year, and the successful launch of the show on RTL2 in Germany earlier this month, the interactive reality dating show will lead a portfolio of new formats from across the ITVS group, including Big Star Bigger Star (12 Yard), Cram (Possessed/ITV Studios Australia) and Eat, Shop, Save (Shiver).
The new shows join ITV Studios’ growing slate of international hit formats, including I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Hell’s Kitchen, Big Star Little Star, Come Dine With Me and The Chase.
Mike Beale, MD Nordics and Global Creative Network, ITV Studios, said: “Love Island was the biggest entertainment hit of the summer in the UK. With the show currently airing in Germany and several discussions already underway with other territories, this year’s MIPCOM comes at a perfect time to extend those conversations with our clients. “Our slate also shows the creative strength of our international group with ITVS Sweden, ITVS Australia and Imago TV among those represented.”
