Toronto – Blue Ant International, a division of Blue Ant Media and leaders in global content distribution, announced the appointment of Alex Maldini to the position of Vice-President, International Sales & Acquisitions. In this role, Maldini will oversee Blue Ant International’s sales across the UK, Scandinavia, Benelux and Italy. He is also tasked with growing the division’s extensive library with more premium third-party content, across multiple genres. Maldini will operate out of Blue Ant International’s London (UK) office and will report to Solange Attwood, SVP, Blue Ant International.

Maldini arrives at Blue Ant International from WME-IMG/IMG Media, where he served as Vice-President, Entertainment, Sales & Acquisitions for six years, growing the company’s catalog across all genres in the UK, Scandinavia, Benelux and Global Pan Regional networks. He also lead the annual sales and acquisitions strategy for WME-IMG’s Entertainment division. Previous leadership roles also include Vice President Sales & Acquisitions/Head of Factual & Formats for DCD Media and Director of Sales and Marketing for September International.
