London— Sony Pictures Television (SPT) announced that it has sold the highly anticipated U.S. adaptation of Mad Dogs to over 140 countries around the world, ahead of the series debut on Amazon in the U.S., UK and Germany.
Across Europe, Movistar+ picked up the series in Spain and MTG acquired the show for Viaplay in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Other territories include Finland (Nelonen), Belgium (Telenet), Turkey (D-Smart) as well as AXN in Central Eastern Europe. OSN had picked up the series for the Middle East, Mnet will show it across Africa, and Sky bought the drama in New Zealand. Across Asia, buyers include pan-regional SVOD platform HOOQ covering the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia and India; as well as Viacom’s Colors Infinity in India.
