Los Angeles/Amsterdam – Golden Globe winner and Emmy nominee Kyle MacLachlan will be the guest of honour at an exclusive cocktail party, hosted by CBS Studios International at MIPCOM in Cannes, for the highly -anticipated return of the new Twin Peaks on Showtime in the U.S. MacLachlan will be attending a photo call at the Press Club terrace and walking the red carpet at the MIPCOM opening party as well.
With a career spanning over 30 years, MacLachlan has been part of some of the television’s most successful series. This includes starring as FBI Agent Dale Cooper in Twin Peaks, one of the most groundbreaking and influential broadcast series of all time. He will be reprising the role when the new Twin Peaks series returns on Showtime in 2017.

The new Showtime series picks up 25 years after the inhabitants of a quaint northwestern town were stunned when their homecoming queen Laura Palmer was shockingly murdered. The new Twin Peaks is written and produced by series creators and executive producers David Lynch and Mark Frost and is directed entirely by Lynch.
