Tokyo, Japan– Netflix announced that Hibana -Spark-, its latest Japanese original series, is now available on the service. Hibana -Spark- joins the diverse slate of Asia-produced Netflix original titles introduced by the service to audiences across Asia since its global launch in early 2016.

Hibana -Spark- is also the first Japanese local original series that was entirely shot and processed using ultra high-definition 4K technology, bringing more color to storytelling. This is in line with the Netflix mission to continuously innovate to bring the best viewing experience possible to its over 81 million members worldwide.
