Dance Singapore Dance is a localised version of Dance India Dance. Dance Singapore Dance will provide a platform for amateur and experienced dancers to showcase their dancing talent. The open category competition is open to all residents of Singapore aged 16 and above. Dance India Dance started in India in 2009. Since then, the show has seen about 200,000 participants over nine editions. Winners from past editions of the competition have catapulted to fame with many of them gaining film experience and sponsorships after the show.
