Mumbai– MTV India has been re-branded with the new tagline ‘It’s My MTV,’ replacing MTV Enjoy, to highlight interactivity and personalization as drivers for the brand. The re-branding effort will be reflected across TV, Internet and mobile platforms as well as merchandise. As part of the make-over, MTV is introducing five new short-format shows Crazysexycool.com, MTV Wear Their Skin, MTV It Sucks!, MTV Eat This and MTV Love Bytes and reality show MTV iSuperstar as well as new music blocks Saturday Shuffle and Daily Download. The new shows will be driven by user-generated-content across key youth interests of food, fashion, career, relationships, humour, adventure and music. A new on-air environment including stylized packaging in graphics, logos, bugs, clip titles and billboard beds will also feature, while existing shows on MTV will be re-packaged in the coming weeks. New international VJ Mia will also host MTV’s programs. MTV’s revamped look was created by considering 15,000 consumers’ visual interpretations of the MTV brand, with the best logos to go on air with the contributors’ pictures.
