Australia’s Seven has signed an exclusive content deal for shows from Granada International’s current slate including Life Begins, William and Mary, as well as new series Lewis and My Boy Jack, to debut in 2008. Seven’s programming portfolio already includes programming from NBC Universal and The Walt Disney Company, as it expands its presence through multiple channels on the company’s digital TV platform. David Leckie, CEO of Seven Media Group and Seven Network said, “We have a terrific working relationship with Granada and we look forward to them continuing to create great television programmes and also working with us as we expand our multiple channel presence in broadcast television over the coming twelve months.” Separately, Granada International secured worldwide rights (excluding US) to new factual entertainment series, Old Skool with Terry and Gita. The 5 x 30″ series created and produced by Bunim/Murray Productions, was commissioned by VH1 in the US and will be available at NATPE 2008 at Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas from Jan 28-31.
