Singapore – ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) has launched STAR Sports Mobile, a mobile sports content service featuring exclusive content from English football clubs Arsenal and Liverpool as well as 3G video content from the networks’ original programming. STAR Sports Mobile offers exclusive goal and match video highlights, player wallpapers, archive video clips and video interviews with players, as well as club ring tones from Arsenal and Liverpool. The service also provides 3G streaming video highlights covering opinions, instructional tips and online game reviews from STAR Sports’ original shows including ACE by Sony Ericsson, Engine Block, Golf Focus, Game and Top Corner. Also available are wallpapers of STAR Sports presenters, themed ring tones and Java games. STAR Sports Mobile is an extension of ESPN STAR Sports’ mobile service, mobileESPN, which launched across multiple markets across Asia Pacific in May 2006. STAR Sports Mobile became available to Indonesian sports fans from Dec 10, with the launch of SPORTesia, PT Bakrie Telecom’s new sports mobile content platform.
