Hong Kong – Asia Satellite Telecommunications Company Ltd and TRACE, an international urban music and culture TV channel, have signed a lease agreement to distribute to Asian cable and satellite networks as well as pay-TV platforms through AsiaSat 2’s pan-Asian C-band platform. TRACE’s programming covers urban music genres including hip hop, R with exclusive features, celebrity interviews, documentaries on urban trends such as fashion, cinema and dance. TRACE’s programming targets over one billion urban youths worldwide and includes Asian programming blocks from regional urban acts. TRACE joins over 35 public and private broadcasters from Europe, the Middle East and other parts of the world on AsiaSat 2.
