Singapore – Cable operator StarHub will add the Eurosport channel to its offerings, to be available from April 15, 2008, to its Sports Group customers using the digital set-top box, HubStation or HD set-top box, at no additional cost. Eurosport is a 24-hour sports channel covering more than 60 sports genres to offer variety and choice. It is a sports multimedia platform in Europe that delivers sporting events including the Africa Cup of Nations Football, WTA Tour, ATP Tour Events, ULEB Cup, Cycling Tour of Spain and Italy, Rugby Heineken Cup, FIA World Touring Car Championships, Motocross World Championships and Athletics IAAF Super Grand Prix. Eurosport also offers summer and winter Olympic sports, and extreme sports. Eurosport will bring the number of Sports Group channels to nine, adding to ESPN, Football Channel, STAR Sports, SuperSports, SuperSports Plus, Golf Channel, Goal TV 1 and Goal TV 2. In addition to the Sports Group, StarHub provides cricket channels including Neo Sports, STAR Cricket and Cricket Extra, in the Cricket Group.
