Videofashion has shot the haute couture collections in Paris and will include the footage in an upcoming 30-minute Videofashion News program (Volume 32 #1) scheduled for mid-February 2008, which is also available in HD. A second haute couture program will be available shortly after. Completed programs as well as segments and unedited footage from the haute couture collections are available for international licensing. The first Videofashion News program on Paris Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2008 features Valentino’s Place Vendome studio, Christian Lacroix’s atelier on the Fauborg Saint Honoré, the backstage of the Christian Dior show, the Chanel show as well as Odile Gilbert’s studio. The second Videofashion News Paris Couture show includes collections from Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier, Armani Privé, Elie Saab and Louis Vuitton Blason Jewelry. Haute couture shows are exclusive and exquisite fashion events as couture ensembles are made from fine fabrics which allows for elaborate beadwork and embroidery, each hand-made creation costs upwards of US$100,000.
