FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) announced the sales of more than 700 hours of new shows. The total sales include some 270 hours of premium music and entertainment programming and 260 hours of inspiring factual shows, all of which have been sold into a total of more than 40 territories worldwide. The feel-good reality sub-genre has spurred the sale of more than 270 hours of programming. She’s Got the Look, the modelling competition featuring contestants of 35 and over, has sold 108 hours across 18 territories “in the can” including New Zealand and Thailand. Oprah’s Big Give, the reality show where contestants compete to give to others rather than to get for themselves, has also proved highly popular selling over 160 hours to broadcasters such Ten in Australia and NBC/Hallmark in Asia (pan regional).
